Come on in, I said warmly through the opened door. The second Trish stepped into the room it seemed like the air changed and it was easier to breathe in here. You, too. Trish bounced excitedly and hugged me like we were reunited college friends.
Even though I sort of feel like I know you already. I shrugged. What could I tell her? That I thought her boss was a royal bitch whom I wanted to toss off the roof of this hotel? What is your problem? Why are you being like this? Ryan asked Marla harshly, trying to keep his voice down. Marla made her signature throaty scoff, the one that sounds like a cat starting to choke up a hairball.
What mess? Ryan asked. I got engaged. Big deal. Trish frowned as Marla made no attempt to hush her reply. You have the world at your disposal.
Ryan raised his voice. Get that straight. Trish and I walked back into the dining room. Marla opened the envelope, taking her good old time scrutinizing the contents. She was just starting to complain about a mistake she found when Ryan interrupted. Gone was the normal, even-tempered man I loved. In his place was a seething time bomb ready to explode.
My heart pinched with fright hearing the menace in his tone. Celeste Crawfield left me ten voice mails; Glam wants first dibs for a cover story. And take this bullshit with you. She sighed like an unhappy, controlling mother. You know things need to be formed legally, Ryan. Apparently movie star temper tantrums were old hat. Your car will be here at nine and—. He nodded his chin at the door. I had never seen him this angry.

African American. I nodded, trying to save myself from having to explain. You want to tell me what the hell scared you awake like that? I tensed, not exactly sure which her he was referring to. It was just a stupid dream.
I glanced at the clock on the bedside table. Cool air brushed my naked body as he rolled out from underneath the warm covers. Ryan crawled back into bed, snuggling around me. I was just thinking about that. Sticky, but oh so worth it. Or melted chocolate. His teasing tickle caused a bone-jolting shiver to blast through my body.
Ryan growled, palming my ass. Call in sick, I whispered. Ryan grimaced. Does it still hurt? It gets sore. Stiff, sometimes. I nodded. Last week. Marie went with me. He appeared upset about it. He nudged me for a response. We both did. I held him firm, pinning his hips back down.
Just let me turn it off. Leave it. Ryan looked at me warily as he pulled his jeans up over his naked body. I started to worry. His lips puckered with disgust. Marla and David are on their way up. He rubbed his forehead. Photos were leaked, he mumbled. A wave of fright pricked at my nerves. What photos? How bad is it? I stared at my feet, trying to understand. This was not bad news, or was it? Ryan interrupted my thoughts, tossing my jeans over to me.
And did you? He shrugged. Yeah, well, keep that in mind, he said on his way to answer the door. Sit, she ordered. Ryan glared at her for a moment and then pulled out a chair at the large dining table. Of course not! Caught up in the moment? Marla questioned incredulously. Marla— David said, attempting to quell her temper. Aaron and I have been— Marla interrupted. My spine stiffened further.
Jesus Christ, Ryan groaned, but she ignored him. Her last words felt like a slap. I know what my responsibilities are! Ryan snapped angrily. Marla breathed out her unhappiness and righted herself in the chair.
Of course. Did she say anything about doing a press release on your engagement? I shook my head at Trish. Not a word. Are these the new press packets? I just came from the printer, Trish said mildly. Are we done? Marla pretended not to hear him. How could she not? Ryan yelled. Your car will be here at nine and— "I said get out! Five seconds later, our bedroom door slammed shut. Rate as 4 out of 5, I liked it. Rate as 5 out of 5, I loved it. Rating: 0 out of 5 stars. Write a review optional. Hayley Woo Jia Yi. I love this book! It's so interesting and entertaining there was just never a dull moment. I would have given it a 5 star but i felt Marie and Mike were just too into the story.
I like them a lot but it just seemed more about them than the actual main characters and that really annoyed me. I love Love unscripted just because it was about them and their struggles, not that this time around it isn't.
Michie Vassell. This was a great reminder that you may just not be in the mood to read something, and to give it another try before giving up on it. I previously attempted to read this and DNF it after 2 chapters. I picked it up again and tried it on audiobook, and I liked it way more than I thought I would.
I still did not love it though. This does start off again with the characters going back and forth about their relationship which did get annoying in the first book. I started to enjoy this more one it moved on from this. I also enjoyed the side romance between Marie and Mike.
I do think this was too long for what it was. However; where I did not like book one, this was more of what I was looking for with the storyline. I probably will not pick up the new one coming out, but who knows. I fell in love with these characters I felt what they were feeling these books made me laugh cry and smile. Very well written with high drama moments as well as low key, easy romance.
Funny scenes, witty lines balanced with soul searching. One of the big things this series has going for it is that the heroine is self-sufficient with a can-do attitude. She holds her own and I find it refreshing to have a strong female lead. This book was just as good as the first. It was well worth the wait! Ryan and Taryn's bumpy ride through their engagement was a nice distraction from everyday life.
I wish that people truly understood the meaning. I cannot wait to have the time to reread both books back-to-back so I can fully appreciate them. I love the Love series, and Ryan!! He is so sweet, loving, and sincere! This had such a happy ending too.
Reber filled the book with lots of hawt and steamy scenes which totally made up for the loss!! This book is full of sweet romance and hot guys.
